The client wanted to differentiate their ecommerce software from that of their competitors, with a presentation that showed that they were leading the way in a rapidly evolving market. This clip was designed to open the presentation with a bang, with their logo (a globe) represented as a comet, bringing something new and revolutionary to the Earth in a dramatic and intriguing manner. The clip was repurposed for a variety of delivery methods, including plasma screens, sales laptops and the Web.
