THE SKY'S THE LIMIT
Modern 3D software can be used to create almost anything, and is a key part of
our development process for medical animations, pre-visualized manufacturing
processes and animated 'cut-aways' that reveal the inner workings of a product.
However, we also use it to create
cinematic
web movies,
high
impact presentations,
idents,
ecards and
even the more simplistic visuals in
explainer
videos. We love the freedom and flexibility offered by a 3D package, where
we
can
easily tweak an animation, change the camera angle, and even vary the render
style of the final output, from photo-realistic to hand drawn cartoon. In fact,
when combined with powerful 2D animation and compositing software, such as Adobe
After Effects, the sky's the limit!
3D CHARACTERS
Many of our projects use characters to help illustrate a process, but even those that look sketched or cartoon-like may actually be a 3D model. It's much easier to create new poses and animations when a character exists in three dimensions. We're also able to immerse them in 3D environments, rotate objects, move the camera around and change the colours and textures, much faster than we could using traditional 2D animation techniques.
Whilst we can custom design a new character for you, the process of modelling, texturing and skeletal rigging is time consuming and requires a larger budget. For more rapid development we have a large range of pre-built 3D characters, which may offer a suitable solution at a much lower cost.
